MMORPG: Divine Mech Hunter - Chapter 932
Chapter 932: Chapter 932: The Monster is Released Chapter 932: Chapter 932: The Monster is Released Accompanied by huge waves, Li Yao stood on an immense sea monster, bow in hand, already leaping into mid-air.
Everyone was stunned, wondering when Li Yao got such a terrifying pet.
Moreover, its size was enormous and intimidating, its attacking power aside, just its head was massive, and it was a race-level leader.
While everyone was dumbstruck, Li Yao was not idle. As the sea monster leaped out of the water, the bowstring in Li Yao’s hand trembled continuously.
One arrow after another shot toward the fragile healers on the ship; these players were still in shock from his entrance and were killed by the arrows before they could react.
“Quick, get out of the way!” Beast Speaker roared as he performed a backward leap.
Prairie Fire also instantly activated his life-saving skill, and moments later, the huge figure of the sea monster crashed directly onto the warship.
Crack crack…
In the eyes of the audience, as the sea monster came crashing down, the warship’s deck shattered thunderously, and then the ship broke in half.
Many players were thrown about chaotically, some blasted into the water in a sorry state, others were unlucky enough to be crushed to death, and some were flung onto other ships.
Boom boom…
Then came even larger waves rushing in all directions as the sea monster’s body sank back into the water.
Behind Li Yao, wings unfolded – not for flying, but for gliding. At the sea monster’s highest jump, he leaped as well.
“Prosperous Era, it’s best to be a spectator in this game.”
With Li Yao’s words, his hand once again swiftly shot out multiple arrows.
“Prairie Fire, damn it…” Prairie Fire struggled to steady himself in the water but was killed by an arrow from Li Yao before he could finish cursing.
“Beast Speaker, right? Today I’ll teach you a lesson. No matter how much you strategize, in the face of absolute strength all your plans are easily shattered.”
Beast Speaker, churning in the water with the waves, had no chance to dodge Li Yao’s arrows and was similarly killed.
His eyes were filled with unwillingness; he had calculated everything, and in his eyes, his preparations were ample.
He had indeed surrounded Starfire completely, victory was within sight, so why did such a situation always occur? Was Prairie Fire really his nemesis? Why did he always come off worse in every encounter?
Li Yao, however, didn’t care about these. Gliding from healer to healer, he decisively killed them, not giving Prosperous Era any chance to turn the tables.
By the time the surrounding players reacted and attacked Li Yao, he had already retracted his wings and plunged into the sea, causing their furious attacks to miss completely.
The crowd saw a great shadow in the water as Li Yao landed on the sea monster and vanished.
Only a few of Prosperous Era’s remaining ships were left, clueless about what to do next.
Damn it, as the ship sank, a small whirlpool formed, and the corpses of those Li Yao had killed fell to the seafloor, eliminating any chance of battling back to life.
With two of Prosperous Era’s leaders gone, they were suddenly at a loss.
The audience only snapped out of it at this point, utterly shocked by the scene just witnessed.
They couldn’t believe their eyes, and the entire public screen boiled over with activity.
Li Yao didn’t concern himself with this. The Fire Hawk kept flying and circling in the sky, re-targeting a command ship.
It was another one of Starfire’s rival guild’s command ships; due to the angle of their view, they had not yet fully understood what had happened.
After all, there were too many ships here and they covered such a wide area that it was impossible to see very far.
Beast Speaker was out of the game too, which meant he was eliminated and no longer available for private messages to explain the situation.
Boom…
As they checked the nearby channels to grasp the situation, the players commanding the guild’s flagship noticed four massive heads emerging on both sides of the ship’s hull.
“Heh heh, it’s been a long time since we’ve had such delightful fun stirring the waves. Our master allowed us to act on our own, we must not mess this up,” said the Ice Serpent, as it unleashed its skill, and snowflakes began to flutter and fall.
“The sea is our domain, we can’t lose to that stupid sea monster,” Poison Serpent also released its Poison Fog, which fell on the players on the command ship along with the snowflakes.
The players found their movements suddenly becoming incredibly slow, and their health points also began to drop continuously.
They had just been observing the situation described by everyone on the area channel without any guards up.
“We’re under attack!”
However, covered by the poisonous snow, their movements slowed to an extreme.
“Less talking, sink this place,” said the Dark Serpent, its head coiling around the mast.
The weight of the multi-headed serpent hung on the ship, causing it to suddenly sink, followed by the sound of wooden planks breaking everywhere.
“Watch me,” said the Earth Serpent, with a flash of yellow in its eyes, as the entire multi-headed serpent’s body became covered in a layer of exceedingly heavy Earth Armor.
The multi-headed serpent was already incredibly huge and heavy, too much for the ship to bear, and now that it was covered with the even heavier Earth Armor, the ship collapsed instantly.
“Ice Burst!”
As the ship disintegrated, the Ice Serpent also unleashed an Ice Burst.
A large number of players on the ship exploded with countless blood spikes, dying miserably.
Moments later, the multi-headed serpent sank into the sea, leaving only the broken remains of the ship and countless icy bodies floating on the surface.
Seeing the situation here, the players nearby felt as if they were being pricked by needles, and a cold air surged in their hearts.
The sensation of pain was becoming ever more realistic, and dying in combat against monsters was truly uncomfortable.
All the more, the thought of blood being frozen and then exploding from the inside out sent shivers down their spines just by imagining it.
With the destruction of the command ship, another guild entered a crippled state.
Boom…
Li Yao’s figure reappeared, and the enormous sea monster violently smashed another command ship into sinking.
Li Yao moved like a Charming Shadow, leaving the United Army helpless. This was already the twentieth warship he had destroyed.
The United Army was thoroughly terrified; they had understood the situation and made all sorts of preparations.
Attacking the sea monster was futile, for its health was too high, and Li Yao was too cunning to be caught.
In the water, it was even more tragic–they were too slow and became mere food for the two sea monsters.
They couldn’t even serve the basic function of delay and the surrounding attack on the Starfire fleet wasn’t going well either.
The enemy’s Praetorian Crossbows were too terrifying. As soon as their offensive intensified, the enemy would use the Praetorian Crossbows to clear the field, their killing power utterly fearsome.
The United Army attacked Starfire’s warships even more frantically. The elites of the United Army and the Starfire reserves fought for an hour and a half. Even though the United Army managed to take over half of the warship, causing heavy casualties to the Starfire players, the ship remained firmly in Starfire’s control. They couldn’t breach the inside of the ship nor affect the helm…
