MMORPG: Divine Mech Hunter - Chapter 1019
Chapter 1019: Chapter 1019 Fog Chapter 1019: Chapter 1019 Fog There was nothing of much worth left, but for a five-person main storyline dungeon, this output was rather impressive.
“It’s only half a night, what should we do next, attack other five-person dungeons or move on to ten-person ones?” Sister Li asked.
Now that Sister Li’s abilities had skyrocketed by at least a notch, the team’s capabilities had also improved, which was a pleasant surprise.
After all, they had not expected that five-person dungeons could enhance their strength.
“I still hold on to my original guess,” Li Yao said. “This dungeon drops set pieces; there must be a reason behind it, and since it’s a three-piece set, I suspect that each of the three dungeons will drop different parts. In light of this, I think we should keep clearing this dungeon until we hit the run limit. As for the first kills, there’s no rush for that right now.”
The others thought about it and found his reasoning sound. Starfire had already secured the first clear of the five-person dungeon, which spoke volumes about Starfire’s strength. Whether or not they got the first clears on the other two five-person dungeons no longer mattered much.
Setting aside the fact that Li Yao’s judgment had always been correct–even if he happened to be wrong this time–it wouldn’t greatly impact Starfire. Realizing this, the others no longer objected.
Li Yao then led the team to repeatedly clear the Earl’s dungeon using the clearing orders. However, as opposed to the first kill, the drops wouldn’t be extraordinary, but each run invariably dropped a class-specific set piece, all of them head parts.
By the tenth run, the team had collectively acquired ten class-specific set pieces for the head, and that was when Li Yao announced they could disband and rest.
And as Li Yao shared the raid video on the guild’s pioneering channel, more Starfire teams successfully completed the Earl on the highest difficulty.
Inspired by Li Yao’s team, others continued to progress and clear dungeons. Starfire had now attracted many top players, many of them professionals. Coupled with Starfire’s recent development and quality gear, plus their guides, clearing dungeons had become a much easier task.
With Starfire’s guide available, clearing the Earl, and by extension the Tower of Oblivion, was no longer a secret. After all, the competitive circle was not very big, and Li Yao had no reason to hide it, so teams clearing the Tower of Oblivion grew increasingly common.
Essentially, all guilds had completed their guide on the Earl’s tower, qualifying them to take on team dungeons.
The next day, Starfire gathered once more.
“According to the reports, most of the top guilds have abandoned the five-person dungeons due to our clearing, and they’ve all passed the Earl’s tower. Today, they’ve mostly gathered at the ten-person dungeon entrance,” Sister Li said.
TongTong joked, “You mean gathered at the entrance, right? As long as we pick one, the others definitely won’t choose the same.”
Everyone burst into laughter. It was a show of deterrence; before Starfire chose a dungeon, no one dared rashly enter.
Although they wouldn’t admit it, it was undeniable that Starfire was exceptionally strong.
“Hehe, even those from the Alien Guild haven’t chosen a dungeon, right?” Guardian Angel asked.
Sister Li nodded and said, “Not all, but most haven’t chosen a dungeon.”
Li Yao nodded and said, “Since they’re waiting for us to choose, let’s make them wait. We’ll head out now.”
The gates to the two ten-person main storyline dungeons were the same portal, but the choice of dungeon meant different paths inside.
Now, the dungeon entrance was crowded with numerous players, each a member of the elite teams from the three major factions and Alien Guild players, all contenders for the first clear.
“Damn, what time is it? Is everyone from Starfire a pig? It’s taking them forever to get here.”
“They’ve got confidence, okay? Although I hate to admit it, the pressure of competing with Starfire for first kills is just too great. It’s okay now that there’s a group for this kind of dungeon where we can play separately from Starfire.”
“Yeah, otherwise we wouldn’t stand a chance. The guys from Starfire are too fierce; they just don’t leave any room for others to live. The system is awesome; now that different dungeons have appeared, even if Starfire is fierce, they can’t monopolize all the first clears.”
“Hehe, no need to feel bad about it. Those Alien players are arrogant, but aren’t they just like us, waiting for Starfire to pick and choosing whatever’s left?”
“Only Starfire clears dungeons expecting first kills. Even if they get them, it’s low-grade, hehe.”
“You can’t say that, but indeed, Starfire is really strong now.”
“Right, originally Starfire was in the Dark Camp, and the world’s Dark Camp elites eagerly joined, but this time, an upgrade turned their location into a hub. I don’t know how they managed, but now it became a common port for the three major factions, with players from all factions able to join Starfire. They’ve got an endless supply of heavy hitters.”
“Now they have an infinite supply. Starfire’s main team is like a dream team. Besides their core group, I heard that they’ve set up ten forty-person core competitive teams fighting fiercely for the second group spot. You won’t believe it, each and every one of these teams is filled with top talents. I’m so envious it’s killing me.”
“The thing is, Starfire has too few conditions. They have the honor, they have the strength. Those two ports are designed like real cities and are continuously expanding.”
“I heard Starfire was running out of funds, but then it turned into a common port. Countless players went in, and Starfire made a fortune. Going on like this, which guild could possibly hold back Starfire?”
Because Starfire’s reasons prevented them from entering the dungeon, they naturally started discussing Starfire, and although the guild leaders and deputies were reluctant, they couldn’t stop it.
“Breaking news, breaking news, Starfire has abandoned the ten-person dungeon, continuing to guide the five-person ones(”
“Holy shit, really?”
“Impossible, are the people from Starfire pigs?”
“Absolutely true; many players who guide the five-person ones saw Starfire split into five-person teams and directly enter Tristram.”
“I also got a message from a friend; Starfire’s folks have indeed entered Stratholme.”
Countless people looked at each other, unsure of what was going on. Had the people from Starfire lost their minds? They had a ten-person dungeon to clear but chose to run five-person dungeons instead.
In their view, since Starfire had already secured a first kill in one of the five-person dungeons, chasing first kills there seemed pointless now.
However, Starfire indeed did not appear at the ten-person dungeons, leaving them completely baffled.
However, their confusion only lasted a moment; then each guild chaotically entered their chosen ten-person dungeons.
Though they didn’t understand, since Starfire wasn’t competing for the first kills in the ten-person dungeons, it meant they had a better chance, and naturally, they were very pleased.
Meanwhile, Starfire’s teams dispersed into the five-person dungeons, but this time, Sister Li did not join them. Following Li Yao’s arrangements, she took a huge gamble…
