Later, one team just couldn’t accept defeat. On their first incursion, out of a team of hundreds, barely a few survived. But these few members boldly pressed on, only to find out that apart from the boss’s incredibly high health pool, they could just barely cope with him.

And so, this boss who had plagued countless players was slain. The pity was that other players thought that this was the boss’s unique combat style, trapped within their environment.

Subsequently, the reborn consciousness of this boss rejoined the natural pantheon, causing a sensation in the Emerald Dream’s battles and became a formidable demigod.

Li Yao, in preparation for her mission, had specifically studied the boss. That’s why he knew so much about it.

“Go ahead, ask away, heh heh,” the Mother Tree’s phantasm sneered. Despite appearing immobilized, it knew a great deal, an astonishingly great deal, considering itself the most knowledgeable about The Ancient God World. What could a petty adventurer know?

Li Yao stepped forward. “My first question is quite simple: where is Deathwing now? Oh, that’s right, also known as the former Dragon King.”

“I naturally know that Deathwing is the Dragon King,” the Mother Tree’s phantasm chuckled. “If you had asked anyone else, they surely wouldn’t know the answer to this question, but I happen to know. Not bad, young man. The punishment of the goddess of contracts has not befallen you, and you actually know this secret. Deathwing is currently lurking deep beneath Gruimbart, preparing his world destruction plan.”

As his words ended, a hazy silhouette of a goddess appeared above his head, the goddess holding scales that tipped with a flash of golden light, reducing the Tree Deity’s health by 10%.

“No, this can’t be possible. Deathwing has been lurking somewhere for nearly ten thousand years without moving. How can this be wrong?” The Tree Deity stared intently at Li Yao. “Tell me, where is Deathwing now?”

“Very well, I shall tell you. The current Deathwing has taken on a human form and has become a duke in one of the Human Kingdoms,” Li Yao said.

“This, this…” The Tree Deity, seeing that Li Yao wasn’t punished, realized Li Yao must be telling the truth. His heart was full of shock, but since he had only lost half of the first round, he continued, “Alright then, consider yourself skilled. Now here’s my question: What is the name of the Storm Goddess?”

Li Yao laughed. “Are you purposely letting me win? The Storm Goddess is naturally Aviana.”

The Tree Deity was once again stunned, disbelievingly looking at Li Yao.

But Li Yao just smiled and didn’t explain. In fact, this question was nothing but a trap.

In The Ancient God World, the goddess who presides over the wind is Aela, and many confuse her with the Storm Goddess when they hear her title. The truth is otherwise.

Aela controlled an even purer form of wind energy, and although she had fallen, her renown was still sung by the peoples of the world.

In reality, on this question, many would think of the demigod Storm Crow Aviana, but they wouldn’t think of her.

After all, she was only a demigod and didn’t possess a complete Divine Grid–she was automatically disregarded.

However, Li Yao knew that Aviana had indeed obtained a complete Divine Grid and was only a step away from achieving Godhood.

But when the ancient war erupted, she became a liaison officer and an aerial battle commander, and simply didn’t have the time to be recognized by the ancient gods and claim her Godhood, thus she fell in regret.

However, in a practical sense, she already was the Storm Goddess. Simply put, she wasn’t a goddess of wind, but a goddess of thunder. Wind and thunder are never separate; both the Wind Goddess and Aviana controlled the powers of Wind Thunder, but one primarily wielded wind while the other wielded thunder.

It was because Li Yao had completed his task in resurrecting Aviana with exceptional merit in his previous life that he had learned of this from a Druid who had slumbered for ten thousand years, this Druid being a Raptor Druid, a follower of Aviana.

And now, the Storm Crows that the Druids changed into were actually modeled after Aviana’s own race.
