Chapter 962: Chapter 962: Turn a Blind Eye Chapter 962: Chapter 962: Turn a Blind Eye His expression turned solemn in an instant.

“Yes,” the butler respectfully exited the study to go inform Yao.

Soon after, Yao entered the study, “Mr. Jie.”

“Has Ye Zhanxing left?”

“Not yet, Mr. Ye insists on waiting for the young mistress and is still outside the front gate,” Yao replied with difficulty.

Ye Zhanxing was no ordinary person; they couldn’t just forcibly send him away.

“Don’t bother with him. If he wants to wait, let him wait,” Hanjie said with an icy tone.

Jiang Yu had waited a lifetime, waited until she paid with her life. Ye Zhanxing was only waiting a few hours–what was that in comparison?

“Come take a look at these photos,” Hanjie pushed the photos he was holding out.

Yao was taken aback, then his expression turned serious, “Mr. Jie, these are all of the Dan Family docks or ports related to the Dan Family, and the locations in the photos have all had deliveries in the past few days.”

“Did you say earlier that these photos were sent by Ning Yanan?”

“We can’t trace the recipient, but following the clues, it should indeed be Ning Yanan,” Yao replied cautiously.

“She wants to cooperate with me,” Hanjie’s bewitching eyes flashed, and his thin lips curled into a cold and ruthless sneer.

The scenes recorded in these photos were all at entry points; it could only be confirmed that goods were coming in.

Every port owned by the Dan Family had its own strict security. Unless there was a search warrant, even the police had no authority to enter the ports on their own to search the Dan Family’s goods.

Given that the Dan Family was a Chinese Business Clan with deeply entwined power, the local police had long reached a consensus.

Unless a major safety incident occurred, they would not trouble the Dan Family.

Turn a blind eye, so you can stay in office for a long time.

What Dan Rong was importing, Ning Yanan was probably also very anxious to know.

And Hanjie was precisely the person who could grant her access to the Dan Family’s ports.

That explained why she kept sending these things to Hanjie’s territory.

“Ning Yanan has been using the young mistress to get close to Mr. Jie for so long; she’s probably not trustworthy,” Yao said in a lower voice, his eyes filled with disdain for Ning Yanan.

“Mr. Jie, it has been confirmed that the person who leaked our movements in Japan was Ning Yanan. Not just that, even her frequent trips to the United States under the guise of work were to get close to the young mistress for information. On close inspection, many things end up being tied to her,” Yao said, growing more agitated, wishing he could just shoot this undercover agent.

All in vain, Hanjie had initially wholeheartedly helped her and Jiang Jinchen, and even Jiang Jinchen got involved.

“Regardless of her motives for getting close to Youxuan, there is one clear point now–we can use each other,” Hanjie’s smile turned elusive for a moment, his long fingers tapping on the photos.

“Mr. Jie, I am worried that Ning Yanan is not trustworthy,” Yao still strongly objected.

“I never thought about trusting her, but since she wants to go against Dan Rong, I can lend her a hand,” Hanjie said as he pulled out a cargo workflow chart from a folder and placed it on the table.

“Deliver this gift to her; she will like it.”

“There’s no fill-in address on the parcel. How are we going to deliver this to Ning Yanan?” Yao turned the package inside out, finding no information about the address.

“If the address can’t be found, send it to this place,” Hanjie’s finger pointed toward a kiosk marked with a post office logo.

Ning Yanan’s packages were sent without a sender’s address twice, but both times they were sent from the same post office.

If it wasn’t a careless mistake that revealed the location, then she was waiting for his response.
